GREAT RESULT FROM SPRING WALK 2016

This years annual Spring walk was organised around the ancient Wessex capital meandering through Winchesters historic streets, the Cathedral Close and the beautiful Itchen valley.

Thirty three walkers plus dog met at the King Alfred monument and set off for a four mile walk enjoying the beautiful weather along the way.

Historic buildings, riverside walks and for the more energetic the optional St Catherine’s Hill where you could enjoy stunning views over Winchester.  A truly wonderful walk finished off with a lovely meal at The Bishop on the Bridge pub.

The event raised a fantastic £455, special thanks to Jacqui for organising the event, Colin for his usual  Tombola efforts and of course all the walkers and sponsors on the day.
