GETTING ALL OUR DUCKS IN A ROW…

Another great day cheering on the 50 Ducks at the Bucks Head and the weather was ideal.

Big thank you to John for organising the event and Pete for the Poster. Colin and his family were the “Bookies” who organised 4 fund raising events on the lawn (One table was full of Tombola prizes to be won) and, of course, Graham for keeping cool whilst collecting in the Ducks from the river. He reported that only 1 escaped him that got free and is now paddling along the Hamble.
Richard took plenty of Pictures and Doreen helped with the selling of the Ducks. Myself, John and David were given the task of starting the races off and ensuring none got tangled in the reeds.

Unfortunately, this year Peter and his flock were not able to join us and neither was Maureen due to illness. However all the tables were full outside on the Lawn with plenty of youngsters shouting support for their Ducks.

We also received donations from those not able to attend, thank you.
