The Wessex area committee is one of 13 local, area committees around the UK, raising funds and supporting the great work done by NewstrAid.

The Area Committees are made up purely of volunteers who have worked or still work in the news trade.
The area committees are extremely dedicated to raising money for NewstrAid. They raise money by organising events, holding raffles and lotteries for newsagents allowing everyone to win various sums of money.
The charity would not exist if it was not for volunteers in the area committees, who raise money for NewstrAid in their spare time.
